Gladys F. Rosenthal, 96, of Maytown, PA, formerly of Lake Katrine, NY, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Longwood Manor in Maytown, PA.

Born in Chicago, IL, on October 31, 1916. she was a daughter of the late Maurice & Ann Klein Fellerman. She was a claims administrator for the Social Security Administration in Kingston before retiring in 1977. She was a member of Congregation Ahavath Israel, B'nai Brith, AARP and the New York State Humane Association.

Gladys is survived by her three daughters: Lora Severson, of Ulster Park, Barbara E. Rosenthal, of Lake Katrine and Melinda M. Rosenthal, of Lancaster, PA, and three grandchildren: Mark Severson, Jeff Severson and Ariel Rosenthal. One nephew, Larry Fellerman, and his wife, Sandy also survives.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was predeceased by her husband of 56 years Solomon Rosenthal, who died in 1997, and a brother, Seymour Fellerman, who died in 2001.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Montrepose Cemetery, with Cantor Devorah Gartner from Congregation Ahavath Israel.
